I have the same sign on my wrist, love
As far as I know this kanji is incorrect. The closest kanji I could find to this is 爰, which means therefore and is not a jouyou – the 2,000 kanji students are required to learn. The kanji for love are 恋 (combination of heart and red) and 愛. They have slightly different connotations. The difference between your tattoo and the second one I listed is in the center. There is the symbol for heart which is in the center.
